Dear Mother Earth

I feel so warm in your lap

I feel strong because of you

I feel complete in your presence

Many people try to show they are rich

But physical assets have no value as much as your

Assets are just a perception illusion

Because we are poor in front of you

Bangla and Mansion hold no beauty like you

Because they are nothing without you

You are above all the beauty that one can embrace

Dear mother earth you are so fearless, deep yet calm

Our beauty fade with age but yours is never dead

You tolerate all the pain to ensure us alive and safe

But dear earth

It hurt a lot when I see you suffering

I feel guilty that I cannot take care of you

I cannot protect you from evil 

like the way you do for us

Dear mother earth

It's a promise

I will stand with you

Against the injustice, you are suffering

Against the cruelty, you are bearing

I will search for humanity lost 

I will try to persuade human thoughts

I will revive expired positivity 

Dear mother earth for everything you offer

I will shower you with love and care in return....
